Diverse offers for music lovers

As part of the festival, numerous concerts will take place in the Fontane House. These concerts are not only performed by local talent, but also by international guests. Among the highlights are choirs from Bulgaria and the Luchtmacht-Mannenkoor of the Dutch Air Force. The intercultural encounters are intended to promote a sense of community and exchange.

The Altdoernfeld.de offers a detailed overview of the events and points to a linked program leaflet that shows the attractive offers. Interested parties can register by email until September 18, 2025, with registration information such as offer number, name, telephone and possibly instrument required.

Music schools and their role in Berlin

The event takes place in the context of the large-scale musical education that Berlin's music schools promote. According to the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion, the music schools in every district are important institutions for musical and cultural education and music care. They are aimed at children, young people and adults and offer a wide range of access to musical activity.

The Reinickendorf music school is an example of these decentralized structures, which enable equal access to music lessons for all citizens. It also offers inclusive programs for people with disabilities as well as music education activities for older people and refugees. Concerts, performances and other events are part of the extensive offering and contribute to the cultural enrichment of the neighborhood.

The “Great Festival of the Reinickendorf Music School” is not only a musical highlight, but also an opportunity to celebrate the diversity and cohesion of the community, while the doors to the world of music are opened wide.
