Together in diversity: Big neighborhood festival in Marzahn-Hellersdorf!

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the intercultural neighborhood festival entitled “Togetherness in Diversity” will take place on Otto-Rosenberg-Platz at the Raoul-Wallenberg-Straße S-Bahn station. The event will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will involve active participation Intercultural days Marzahn-Hellersdorf, which will take place from September 6th to 26th, 2025.

This celebration aims to bring people of all ages and cultures together. The festival is organized by various actors, including the DRK district association Berlin-Nordost, the Don Bosco Center, the Cabuwazi Circus Marzahn, the district coordination, BENNplus Raoul-Wallenberg-Str., as well as the Marzahner Tor housing association and the degewo housing association. The diversity of the program is intended to make the cultural synthesis in the district visible and tangible.

Diverse program for everyone

The neighborhood festival offers a variety of program items that offer both entertainment and challenges for the creative abilities of visitors. Highlights include stage performances by:

• Zirkus Cabuwazi Marzahn
• Jumping Kangoo Club Berlin
• Big Band der Hans-Werner-Henze-Musikschule

For the youngest guests there is a puppet theater in the “Respekt & Halt” advice center, as well as various hands-on and creative activities. A special highlight will be the walking act “Clown Kelly”, which will provide additional entertainment.

The Intercultural Days in Marzahn-Hellersdorf offer a platform for a variety of events that express the district's cultural diversity. Shape, discussions, readings, concerts, workshops and street festivals are on the program. The focus is on topics such as integration, migration and lived diversity, with the organizers inviting organizations, clubs, institutions and individuals to take part.

Call for participation

For anyone who is interested in submitting contributions to the Intercultural Days, the registration deadline is July 1, 2025. Registrations can be sent by email to integrationsbuero@ba-mh.berlin.de be sent. The importance of cultural integration has grown significantly in recent years.
