On October 8, 2025, important events will take place in the Ingeborg-Drewitz library in Berlin, while the other library locations in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district remain closed. The Ingeborg Drewitz library, on the other hand, is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., but without staff. During this time, visitors can use the loan and return of media, with the exception of console and board games, musical instruments and consoles.

A lecture begins at 6 p.m. with Eloain Lovi's Hübner, who deals with the topic "Das Tomorrow: New Music and Utopia". Afterwards there is a film screening and a conversation with Alan Bern at 7:30 p.m., which is entitled "Singing from the morning: The young Kadyas".
