Accompanying program with workshops
In support of the exhibition “medium final.” The Graphothek offers a varied accompanying program. A workshop with Dennis Fuchs will take place on October 23, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. In this free workshop, which requires registration, participants can create spatial images from air-drying modeling clay. Material is provided. The workshop challenges participants to view everyday objects as protagonists and at the same time create perspectives between two- and three-dimensional representations.
In addition, multimedia work areas with Teresa Mayr will be offered on November 4th, 2025 between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and collage workshops with architectural photography led by Ines Doleschal on November 12th, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. These workshops not only promote practical art education, but also invite reflection on the connection between image and sculpture.
Art scene in Berlin
Berlin is considered a center for contemporary art and offers hundreds of galleries that present a wide variety of art forms such as fine art, painting, film and media art. Established institutions and art museums such as the Academy of Arts and the Gropius Bau promote exchange and discourse within the lively art scene. Renowned artists such as Alicia Kwade and Ólafur Elíasson contribute to Berlin's cultural diversity, while the Gallery Weekend and Berlin Art Week attract art-loving visitors.
The wide spectrum of art events and the lively young art scene, visible for example in Urban Spree, underline the relevance of Berlin as a creative place for encounters and exchange. The city is therefore not only a location for established artists, but also a place where innovative ideas and forms of expression find a platform.
