The district of Bohnsdorf in Berlin is celebrating a remarkable anniversary this year: 650 years of existence. This important event will be celebrated with a large anniversary celebration from September 5th to 7th, 2025, which will extend across Dahmestrasse. The festivities begin on Friday, September 5th with the grand opening at 4:00 p.m. The next day, Saturday September 6th, there will be a big street party starting at 12:00 p.m. A highlight of the festival will be the “Open Day” of the Bohnsdorf Volunteer Fire Department, which invites you to get to know the work of the fire department better.

The stage entertainment will be varied, including performances by Radio TEDDY, dance groups from the KIEZKLUB, Dance-Planet, the Berolina Choir Ensemble, Mike Maverick and the popular clown Natascha. Another highlight is the show “Udo Jürgens – unforgettable!!”, which will take place on Saturday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The end of the festival weekend

The last day, Sunday September 7th, will be marked by a church service, music and singing. There is also the longest coffee table for visitors, whose participation must be registered in advance. Particular attention is paid to the large raffle, which offers attractive prizes. The draw for this raffle also takes place on Sunday.

The anniversary celebration is organized by the Catholic parish of St. Josef Treptow-Köpenick in collaboration with the KIEZKLUB Bohnsdorf, the support association of the KIEZKLUB Bohnsdorf e.V., the volunteer fire department and other associations and initiatives from the local area and district.

Such a festival is not only a celebration of history, but also an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the diversity of the district.
