In a shocking incident in Staaken, a 58-year-old man was the victim of a knife attack last night. The dispute between two acquaintances, 58 and 59 years old, escalated around 9:25 p.m. in the Magistratsweg when the younger man pulled a knife and stabbed the older climber several times. The injured suffered cuts to the neck and fuselage and had to be taken to the hospital where he had to be operated on.
After the crime, the attacker fled to the mulberry avenue, but was quickly caught by the alarmed police. He had also suffered injuries on his head, probably during the dispute. When he was arrested, the police secured a broken blade of the crime knife. The suspect, who was alcoholized, had to undergo blood sample, but was then released. The investigation has taken over the criminal police of Police Directorate 2 (West).
