A 91-year-old woman died in Berlin after being hit by a truck. The tragic incident occurred on Wisbyer Straße in the Prenzlauer Berg district when the senior citizen was crossing a pedestrian crossing with her walker. According to police, the woman was hit on Monday by a turning tractor-trailer that turned onto Wisbyer Strasse. The 44-year-old driver of the tractor-trailer was driving on the Prenzlauer Promenade towards Ostseestrasse when the accident happened. Rescue workers immediately treated the injured woman and took her to a hospital, where she died from her serious injuries on Wednesday.
