New apartments in Berlin are more expensive: Mayor praises the successful combination of history and future

The Mayor Demirbüken-Wegner expressed a positive statement about the new buildings on Rue Montesquie, which represent a successful combination of history and future. In view of the rising rental prices in Berlin, the new apartments are seen as a welcome option. The city councilor for urban development, Korinna Stephan, thanked the residents of the Cité Foch for their patience and tolerance during the construction phase.

The new apartments in the Cité Foch are mainly rented out to the federal government officials with their families. These apartments are brought to the free market on affordable conditions. The first two construction fields with a total of 228 two- to five-room apartments will be completed this summer, while the third construction site will be finished with 92 other apartments in the coming year.

The Cité Foch has a long history and stands for the values ​​of freedom, equality and fraternity. The new apartments should take these values ​​into the future and at the same time make a contribution to relieving the rental market in Berlin.
