Large search campaign in Berlin: Human trafficking and prostitution in sight
In a large -scale commitment, investigators from the Berlin State Criminal Police Office and Europol carried out several searches in Berlin and Brandenburg early Tuesday morning. There are seven suspects in the sights of the age of 22 to 48, who are faced with suspicion of forced prostitution and human trade. According to the investigators, they are said to have brought women to prostitution through a dating platform by switching advertisements and organizing appointments.
During the searches, not only cash at a five -digit height were secured, but also a one -hand knife, two impact rings as well as various electronic data carriers and a cryptovallet. A 41-year-old suspect was arrested in Schöneberg and was already demonstrated to an investigative judge who issued an arrest warrant. The evaluation of the secured data is still underway, while Europol's Analysis Project Phoenix continues to support the investigation.
