A dramatic traffic accident occurred in Reinickendorf yesterday afternoon! A 60-year-old bus driver was on Ollenhauer Straße with the M21 line bus at 1:30 p.m. when a 60-year-old driver of a light-strength wheel turned left into the Lindauer Allee without observing the accommodating traffic. The bus driver reacted at lightning speed with a danger braking and thus preventing a direct collision!
However, despite this heroic response, five passengers on the bus fell. While a man and three women were only slightly injured and were treated on an outpatient basis, a 52-year-old woman sustained more serious injuries to her spine. She had to be taken to hospital for inpatient treatment. A traffic offenses specialist at Police Directorate 1 (North) is now investigating further details about this incident. The excitement on Ollenhauer Straße remains high!
