Drug shock in Mitte: 46-year-old in the focus of the police!
Federal police forces arrested a 46-year-old man in Berlin-Mitte on Monday evening after discovering a significant amount of drugs during a preventative check. The spectacular attack took place at around 6 p.m. at Friedrichstrasse train station. During the subsequent search of his apartment on Nahariyastrasse in Lichtenrade, various narcotics were found, including suspected cocaine, MDMA, amphetamine and ecstasy, as well as prescription medication.
The suspect was temporarily arrested and had to undergo identification processing in police custody. A special commissioner from the State Criminal Police Office of the Berlin police has taken over the investigation into the illegal trafficking of drugs in large quantities. The authorities are determined to take action against drug trafficking and to clarify further background information.
