Last night there was a serious traffic accident in Wilmersdorf! A 61-year-old bus driver of a BVG bus wanted to turn left around 1 a.m. and overlooked an 18-year-old cyclist who was on the bike path towards Eisenzahnstrasse. There was a dramatic collision!
The young man was seriously injured in the impact and suffered head and arm injuries. Emergency services were immediately alerted and took him to hospital, where he is being treated as an inpatient. The police are now investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, which occurred on Westfälische Straße. Another horrific road incident!
