Yesterday afternoon, a three -person trio in Tiergarten caused excitement when they sprayed a flag mast in front of a party headquarters in Klingelhöferstrasse around 5:15 p.m. An attentive witness alerted the police, but when the emergency services arrived, the suspects immediately flee, aged 19, 27 and 40. The officials took up the persecution and were able to arrest the trio quickly.
While escaping, the 40-year-old fell and sustained a head injury, but then resisted and injured a police officer in the knee and wrist. While the officer was able to continue his duties, the 40-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment. The emergency services found spray paint cans among those arrested, which were confiscated. The two younger men were released after the police measures were completed, while the investigation was taken over by the State Police of the Berlin State Criminal Police Office.
