There was a spectacular incident in Schöneberg last night when a 17-year-old teenager allegedly smashed the window of a martial arts studio and threw a firecracker into it. The explosion occurred around 12:30 a.m. when a witness observed what was happening and immediately alerted the fire department and police.
The officers were able to arrest the fleeing suspect nearby shortly after the incident and took him to police custody for identification. Fortunately, there were no injuries and the teenager was later released to his guardians. The investigation into the incident is not yet complete.
