Clubs invite you: music, dance and lectures for seniors in Berlin!

In the Berlin district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf, numerous cultural events are on the program in the senior citizens' homes in September 2025. The three main locations – the Maria Rimkus House, the Hans Söhnker House and the Hans Rosenthal House – offer a varied program for older citizens, ranging from music to lectures and dance afternoons.

The Maria Rimkus House at Gallwitzallee 53 stands out with several highlight events. On September 2nd, visitors can look forward to “The Sky Over the Wild West,” a musical performance featuring hits from Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash. Entry begins at 2:00 p.m., while the start is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Entry costs €4.00 plus €3.00 for a coffee setting.

Additionally, there will be a song session with Blue Moon Swing on September 9th, followed by a dance café with live music by Joe Morris on September 11th. The Steglitz-Zehlendorf Senior Choir e. V., led by Maria Grimm, invites you on September 16th, and a BINGO afternoon will take place on September 18th. On September 10th there will be a free lecture on “Forgetfulness and Dementia” given by Mathias Wirtz. A special dance event with an Oktoberfest theme will also be celebrated here on September 19th, before the Steglitz e.V. senior choir performs on September 24th.
