650 years of history: Altglienicke and neighbors celebrate anniversary!

Mittelstraße 11, 12529 Schönefeld, Deutschland - On June 20, 2025, the district office Treptow-Köpenick indicates current developments and celebrations in the Berlin-Brandenburg airport region. The focus is particularly on the upcoming anniversaries of several members of the municipal working group who are celebrating round holidays this year. In the districts of Altglienicke, Bohnsdorf, Schmöckwitz, Rangsdorf, Schönefeld, Schulzendorf and Zeuthen, in 2025 it will be reminded of 650 years of documentary mention, while Ludwigsfelde celebrates its 60-year city law. • Zeuthen: All year round with summer festival on July 12th and 13th.

meaning of the anniversaries

The Dialogforum Airport Berlin Brandenburg, a communication and cooperation platform, supports them festivities and promotes dialogue in the region. Since its foundation in 2006, the forum has been aiming to build transparency and trust, to agree on development goals and to promote a balance of interests. In a dynamic environment that has become more important since the opening of Berlin Brandenburg (BER) at the end of October 2020, the region was created as a model region and impulse provider in which over 520,000 inhabitants live.
