Südparkfest in Spandau: Sport, fun and big surprises!
The annual will take place on July 20, 2025South Park Festivaltake place in the Südpark leisure sports facility in Spandau. As berlin.de reports, the event is organized by the Spandau School and Sports Office, the Landessportbund Berlin e.V. and the District Sports Association Spandau e.V. A varied program awaits visitors from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The official kick-off begins at 12 p.m. with a welcome from Sports City Councilor Dr. Carola Brückner and district mayor Frank Bewig.
A special highlight will be the unveiling of the Fame Stone at the Spandau Sports WALK OF FAME in honor of Paula Pichier, the 2024 Sportswoman of the Year. Also included in the program is the “Beat the District Mayor” event, which takes place at approximately 1:15 p.m. Here participants have the opportunity to challenge Frank Bewig by throwing baskets.
Diverse participation offers
The Südparkfest offers a wide range of free activities, including fishing, archery, football, hockey, sword fighting and gliding. There will also be various attractions such as a ninja jumping course, a bubble ball arena and a trampoline facility. Even the little visitors don't miss out with offers such as face painting and airbrush tattoos. Physical well-being is also taken care of.
A varied oneStage programwill round off the festival. Dance shows, workshops and musical performances promise an entertaining experience for the whole family. For further information, including a full stage program and a map, those interested can visit the Spandau School and Sports Office website.
