Sealing electricity tax: Many consumers fall by the wayside

The traffic light coalition today waved through a law to modernize electricity and energy tax law. But the big step into the future of renewable energies is missing! Instead, the electricity tax rate for the manufacturing trade remains at a record high of 50 cents per megawatt hour, and many companies and consumers look into the tube.

Antje Tillmann , financial spokeswoman, sums it up: "We leave out more than just a few-that a government coalition with the green sewage, landfill, landfill and biomass no longer wants to recognize as a renewable energy source, deprives us opportunities for sustainable energy solutions!" It calls for a lowering of the electricity tax rate to the Union law minimum - a call that should sound in the ears of many companies such as music!

growing bureaucracy instead of progress

The law, which promises de -bureaucratization, is sharply criticized by experts. In the hearing, almost all experts warned that bureaucracy was expanded rather than dismantled. Johannes Steiniger emphasizes: "For a serious climate and energy policy, we have to reduce bureaucracy to a minimum, not increase!" He appeals for an early run -up of renewable energies at market -friendly prices - it burns under his feet.

In addition, stony tax incentives demands to open up the treasures of renewable energies such as bioenergy and geothermal energy. Time is forced! A balanced market frame should reward energy efficiency - and the hydrogen economy is considered an essential component of the energy transition.

But how long can companies and consumers wait for this change? The pressure on the traffic light coalition is growing, while Germany is urgently dependent on the acceleration of the energy transition! Can a reform that stands under the banner of the debusturization end up in a confused bureaucracy? It remains exciting how politics is doing on its mission for a green future!

The CDU/CSU parliamentary group under the direction of Friedrich Merz is obliged to promote freedom, cohesion and personal responsibility. It calls for the creation of a stable framework that exhausts the full potential of renewable energies in order to fulfill its own mission. But so far there has been a lot in the suspension - and the country is waiting for solutions!
