A new age for mobile phone supply in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald is due! Deutsche Telekom has invested vigorously in the future and shows that it takes the topic of connectivity seriously. New locations were built in just two months and existing systems were upgraded - and that is only the beginning!

The mobile phone cover has made an enormous leap through the latest developments. Soon no place in the cities of Greifswald and Jarmen will miss more than cell phone reception through the network of Telekom! Due to the new location in Jarmen, the traffic along the busy A20 motorway is much better supplied. And also in Greifswald, a city that is important for its rail connections, passengers can now use their cell phones without having to struggle with connection problems.

Georg von Wagner, the company spokesman for Telekom, sums it up: "The need for range is constantly increasing - around 30 percent per year." This number is alarming and shows how massive demand for mobile data transmission increases. In order to do justice to this boom, another 76 new locations are on the list that will further strengthen the mobile network in the district by 2026 - and this is not an empty promise! Telekom currently operates 146 locations and does everything possible to secure the almost complete budget coverage of 100 percent.

The company has everything under control! With over 36,000 active mobile radio locations and the ambitious goal of creating around 1,500 new locations annually, Telekom is in full speed.
