Bulky waste campaign in Mariendorf: clear out and exchange treasures!

On November 7, 2025, the residents of Tempelhof-Schöneberg will have the opportunity to get rid of their old, no longer needed items easily and free of charge. Citizens can hand in bulky waste, old electrical appliances and old textiles at the Faulhornweg 5-8 location in Mariendorf. This initiative is complemented by an integrated exchange and gift market, which allows visitors to pass on “old treasures” or take them with them. The aim of the campaign is to motivate residents to clear out their basements and attics and thus contribute to a clean neighborhood.

Suitable items that are not picked up find their way to the “NochMall”, a BSR used goods department store in Reinickendorf, which benefits sustainability. This mobile cleaning of the district complements the established bulky waste collection and the BSR's fixed recycling centers. The campaign is particularly important with regard to a clean and tidy cityscape.

Avoiding illegal dumping of waste
