On Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the courtyard between the library and the adult education center, Carl-Schurz-Straße 13, 13597 Berlin, a colorful event will take place. Entry is free and visitors can look forward to a diverse program.
The highlights of hope include junk stands, music, game corners and a Johanniter teddy outpatient clinic, which is available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. From 12 noon, the children can get put on make-up by the artist Camille from Camil'studio or receive glitter tattoos. An exciting escape game entitled "The mysterious seal of Spandau" is also waiting for the participants.

The event offers a wide range of activities for young and old. The junk stands invite you to browse, haggle and discover for treasures. If you want to look after a stand, you can register by August 21, 2025 at events@ba-spandau.berlin.de . The stand fee consists of a cake brought with them.
In addition, different partners are represented with their stands. The Stephanus Foundation presents candles and unique pieces, while the Alpha alliance Berlin-Spandau provides information on basic education.
The culinary offer ranges from waffles at the "Miss July" stand to cakes from the Freundeskreis of the Library to grill leaks from the Lutetia team, which will be on site from 12 p.m. Drinks are ready at the booth of the open-air cinema Spandau.

The musical end of the day is designed by Richard's children's music shop, which will appear at 4 p.m. In addition, there is a Silent Disco for children and adults as well as various surprise campaigns that are carried out in cooperation with the event partner Horizon event.
