The crimes took place on January 30th on Skalitzer Straße in Kreuzberg and on July 18th on Sonnenallee in Neukölln. The victims, a 36-year-old and a 39-year-old, both sustained significant leg injuries. One of the injured people has been suffering from considerable difficulty walking ever since.
The investigation intensified when DNA traces were found on a bullet casing, which led to the identification of the suspect. During a search of his apartment and vehicle, which was carried out after the arrest, the officers not only found the alleged murder weapon, but also ammunition and clothing. In addition, they discovered materials containing substances that may be related to drugs. In particular, “substances suspicious of cocaine” were seized in large quantities. The accused, who lives in Neukölln, is now in custody after an arrest warrant was issued against him.
