Premiere of Little Red Riding Hood: Young dancers: Looking for inside in Berlin!

On Friday, October 17, 2025, the Young Trybe Dance Company will celebrate the premiere of their new dance production “Little Red Riding Hood” at 7:30 p.m. The performance takes place in the studio stage of the ATRIUM youth art school in Berlin. Additional performances are scheduled for Saturday, October 18, at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, which gives this production a special appeal. The plot follows the traditional fairy tale in which Liesel, known as Little Red Riding Hood, brings treats to her sick grandmother while heeding the warning not to stray from the path. Tickets can be sent via email secretariat@atrium-berlin.de Or can be reserved by phone at (030) 403 82 96-0.

The Young Trybe Dance Company, founded in 2022, is aimed at young people of all body shapes, origins, gender or skin color and specifically invites dancers aged 15 to 25 to take part in their creative process. Beginners are particularly welcome, regardless of their dance experience. Anyone interested can send a short email to youngtrybedc@gmail.com register.

Intensive preparations for production

In the run -up to the premiere, intensive rehearsals take place. The dates are spread over the weekends in September and October, with a dress rehearsal on October 16. On the rehearsal weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and in the last main rehearsals on the 13th, 14th and 15th of October from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This aesthetic reinterpretation of the fairy tale is led by choreographer ECE Bodo -çınar, which gives the members dance basics and thus actively participates in the development of dancers.

Overall, the goal of the Young Trybe Dance Company is not only to make an artistic contribution, but also to involve social and visual aspects in the work. Projects such as this are in the context of initiatives such as opportunities that support local projects to promote children and adolescents. A creative process is established under professional guidance in which the participants are actively involved in the design. The results of such projects are often presented publicly to promote access to dance for a broader target group.

An invitation to participate

With its productions, the Young Trybe Dance Company would also like to support program initiatives such as opportunity dance that promotes local alliances and enables socially disadvantaged groups to participate in culture. The focus is on the needs and interests of the participants and the cultural diversity. The open invitations to participate in the dance projects not only offer young people the opportunity to acquire dance knowledge, but also to develop social skills and to interact in a creative environment.

For those who want to support the dance project, there are numerous ways to get involved - be it as a participant or as a spectator in the upcoming performances. The Young Trybe Dance Company thus sets a sign of regional cultural support and at the same time offers a platform for creativity and community.
