New school location in Reinickendorfer Strasse for Anna-Lindh primary school planned
The Anna-Lindh primary school in Berlin is happy about a new school building on Reinickendorfer Strasse. Yesterday the modern building was officially handed over by the Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Living to the Mitte district office. The move to the new school building is planned for February 2025, and preparations are running smoothly. The school will now have a permanent location again after it had to leave its original location due to mold.
The new school building offers space for 576 students and houses a cafeteria, specialist rooms, administrative areas and a library in addition to classrooms. The building is barrier -free and is certified according to the standards of the federal evaluation system sustainable construction with the quality level "silver".
In addition, the building has two barrier -free sports halls with a total of six indoor parts, which can also be used by clubs. School City Councilor Benjamin Fritz emphasizes the importance of the new school building for the school and the students.
