The information about the cancellation comes from Ephraim Gothe, the district councilor for urban development and facility management, as well as Christopher Schriner, the district councilor for order, environment, nature, streets and green spaces. As part of a press release, both have made it clear that the health and safety of the participants come first.
Instead, the residents can look forward to the upcoming neighborhood walk season, which is scheduled to begin at the end of April or early May 2025. The exact dates for the retrieval walks are announced on the website of the Mitte district office and on social media, so that all interested parties have the opportunity to take part.These regular events are important for promoting the community spirit and getting to know the neighboring of the neighboring in Moabit.
