Creative togetherness: Ideas workshops start in Tempelhof-Schöneberg

On October 9, 2025 the time has come: the first ideas workshop to promote togetherness will take place in the Intercultural House in Schöneberg. This event is aimed specifically at people who feel limited in their visibility and need to be heard. Moderated by Crisp e.V. in a world café format, the workshop is intended to promote exchange, networking and creative idea development. The aim is to stabilize the dialogue and encounter formats by the end of 2025, which will achieve long-term improvements in the community, as berlin.de reports.

The workshop series includes a total of four ideas workshops that take place at different locations in Berlin, followed by a final event. The first workshop in Schöneberg appeals to anyone who is interested and will also have the opportunity to take part in other events in the next few weeks:

  • 2. Ideenwerkstatt: Mariendorf Süd, 23. Oktober 2025, 16:00-19:00 Uhr, EVM-Treff, Körtingstraße/Forddamm, 12107 Berlin.
  • 3. Ideenwerkstatt: Tempelhof, 12. November 2025, 16:00-19:00 Uhr, Bezirkszentralbibliothek “Eva-Maria-Buch-Haus”, Götzstraße 8/10/12, 12099 Berlin.
  • 4. Ideenwerkstatt: Lichtenrade, 21. November 2025, 16:00-19:00 Uhr, Nachbarschaftszentrum Bornhagenweg, Bornhagenweg 43, 12309 Berlin.

The final event is planned for December 10, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Room for Participation Tempelhof-Schöneberg, Dominicusstraße 11, 10823 Berlin.

Interactive formats to promote participation

The ideas workshops are based on a structured approach that is based on the principles of participation and creative collaboration. As sowi-online.de explains, these are new forms of learning and working that were originally developed in industrial companies and citizens' initiatives. The aim is to find new solutions to specific problems using moderation and visualization methods as well as creativity techniques. The workshops provide a framework in which thoughts can flow freely.

The structure of the idea workshops includes several phases, from preparation to presentation of the results. There is a clear focus on creative exchange and the development of concrete solutions. Participants work in an open and inclusive atmosphere that promotes a non-domination discourse. This is in line with the suggestions of partizipative-methods.de, which point out the importance of interactive and equivalent workshop formats.

These methodological-didactic approaches are particularly useful when specific groups need to be specifically involved and new ideas or solutions are sought. They help close gaps between reality and the planned implementation of ideas, thereby fostering a stronger community.
