According to media reports, Jordan managed to intercept dozens of drones near the Iraqi-Syrian border. These drones were supposedly directed to Jerusalem as a goal.

The Jordanian government confirmed the shooting of the drones on Sunday morning that had entered the Jordan airspace. Fortunately, there were no injuries to people, and no serious damage was also found on buildings.

Despite Jordan's campaign, Iran warned the country into conflict against interference. A representative of the Iranian news agency Fars indicated that Jordan could be the next goal, should it continue to interfere with the conflict. Jordan had previously announced to shoot drones that were supposed to violate airspace.

The "Jerusalem Post" praised the Jordanian approach as proof of the transformation of enemy to the ally, which refers to the peace treaty with Israel from 1995. Before this contract, Jordan was a military opponent of Israel for years.
