Holitopia Festival for Arts & Futures: Design the future with design and innovation

Holitopia: A new festival for future design in Berlin

The future is in our hands - this is the message of the Holitopia Festival, which takes place in Berlin from September 20 to September 22nd at the HTW Campus. This unique event is aimed at everyone who wants to actively participate in the design of the future, be it in science, art, design or entrepreneurship.

The focus of the festival is on the potential of the future design as a way of thinking and method in order to transform future visions into concrete solutions. Through conferences, exhibitions, workshops and artistic interventions, likely, possible and desirable future visions should be experienced.

Under the direction of the curator and artist Madeleine Schwinge, Holitopia offers a platform to explore various subject areas. "Tools and Trends" conveys methodological foundations of future research, while "The Material World" explores the influence of technological innovations on the future of the planet. "From Linear to Circular" examines the transition to a circular understanding of space and time, and "Subject to future" is dedicated to individual future visions and democratic participation through design.

The exact program will be published in July, at the same time the ticket sales start. Holitopia promises exciting insights into the design of our common future and invites everyone interested to actively participate in this process.
