Big family sports festival in Berlin: fun and exercise for everyone!

On Sunday, July 20, 2025, the largest family sports festival in Berlin will take place in the BVB Stadium at Siegfriedstraße 71, 10365 Berlin. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors of all ages are welcome to try out the wide range of games, sports and exercise options free of charge. The event is supported by the district councilor for schools and sports, Sandy Mattes (SPD), who will also be available to speak personally. The family sports festival is a joint initiative of the Berlin State Sports Association as well as the district sports associations and participating sports clubs and associations. The aim is to draw attention to local sports offerings.

The family sports festival is very popular and has been celebrated directly in the neighborhoods every two years since 2021. This year the event offers a variety of opportunities to participate, including (children's) athletics, various ball sports and weight training. There will also be a mobile ice cream parlor on site, which will provide the first 100 scoops free of charge from around 12 p.m., financed by Sandy Mattes.
