Captivating evening with Judith Gridl: Thriller about sea rescue in Steglitz!
On January 10, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., the Berlin author Judith Gridl will present her new book "The deepest point" in the Ingeborg-Drewitz library. Inspired by the sea rescue, the book addresses a tragic shipping accident in the Bay of Lübeck, in which a wedding party has an accident in a storm and losing their lives twenty -four.
The focus of history is the computer scientist Nina and the pilot of a rescue helicopter, who suspect that human failure was not the cause of the accident. Instead, they reveal a network of criminals and powerless state authorities. Gridl's thriller illuminates how much we are dependent on technology and how we deal with the environment, which certainly stimulates thinking.
