Falkensee celebrates: New Michelin star restaurant Sawito opened!

On Tuesday evening, the new stars of the Michelin Guide for Germany were awarded in Frankfurt am Main. This year Brandenburg can look forward to a new one-star restaurant: the "Sawito" in Falkensee in the Havelland. This modern restaurant combines classic element of the kitchen with creative accents and has thus received the award as the first restaurant of this kind in the region. In Brandenburg, the already award -winning restaurants "Kochmaszimmer in the restaurant Zur Ratwaage" in Potsdam and the "Alte Crossing" in Werder (Havel) keep their stars. Brandenburg now counts three restaurants with Michelin-Stern, reports rbb24 .

In Berlin there were also news. Here the "Loumi" in Kreuzberg is newly awarded a Michelin star. It offers an exciting mix of Japanese-Asian and French cuisine. In total there are now 17 one-star restaurants in the federal capital, another this year compared to 2024. The number has not changed in the two-star category either: Here the four star restaurants "Coda Dessert Dining", "Facil" and "Tim Raue". However, the "Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer" lost one of his two stars. According to Moz Three star restaurant in Berlin and Brandenburg "Rutz", which is located on Chausseestrasse in Mitte.
