Eternal memory: The eventful life of Erich and Zenzl tedious

"The way of Erich Mühsam and his companion Zenzl"

A special anniversary is the focus this year, which brings together the life of two outstanding personalities: 90 years ago, on July 10th, the well-known publicist, anarchist and anti-fascist Erich Mühsam (1878-1934) was brutally murdered in the Oranienburg concentration camp near Berlin. This tragic event was the reason for a conference in early July to remember his life and work. Likewise, on July 28, 140 years ago, the birth of Kreszentia is difficult (1884-1962), called Zenzl, his companion and loyal supporter, in the small Lower Bavarian town of Haslach.

Erich Mühsam, although born in Berlin, spent his youth in Lübeck. After his trips to Paris and Genoa, he settled in Munich in 1908, where he met Zenzl Elfinger. The marriage in 1915 marked a special turning point in his life. Together they were actively involved in the November Revolution in 1918 and barely survived this uprising. 15 years in prison was difficult to do, while Zenzl fought tirelessly for his release.

The eventful and dangerous time in Berlin began for the couple at the end of 1924, after Erich's dismissal from custody. He now campaigned for political prisoners and campaigned for the formation of a strong front against emerging National Socialism. Despite his warnings of the emerging threat from fascism, her situation became more and more precarious. Finally Erich was arrested in February 1933 and his martyrdom began.

Zenzl, who fled to Prague after Erich's burial, was determined to discover the Nazirael and the spread of Erich's works. Despite persecution and expatriation, she continued to struggle. She finally took her trip to Moscow, where she was disappointed and deceived by promises. After years of detention and the Tortur, she finally returned to Germany, where she stood up until her death for the memory of Erich and the fight against fascism.

This moving story of Erich Mühsam and Zenzl shows how brave people fought against all adversities for their beliefs and left a legacy that is still important today. Your use against oppression and injustice will continue to inspire and encourage them in the future.
