Reinickendorf: Cyclist collides with police cars

Yesterday afternoon a traffic accident occurred in Konradshöhe. According to the initial information, a Berlin police car drove along the Falkenplatz towards Falkenhorststrasse at 2:35 p.m. without using special and way rights. Suddenly a 17-year-old cyclist is said to have driven suddenly from the sidewalk onto the road, which led to a collision. The young person suffered injuries to the head and upper body and was taken to hospital for inpatient treatment. A 56-year-old police officer also contracted injuries and stepped down from the service.

Hellersdorf: Girl runs on the street and is recorded by Auto

Last night the police were alerted for a traffic accident in Hellersdorf. According to initial knowledge, a 56-year-old driver of a car drove along the Quedlinburger Straße in the direction of Zerbster Strasse at around 6.30 p.m. when a seven-year-old girl suddenly entered the road right behind the bus stop there. The child was hit by the exterior mirror of the car and crashed into the curb. It suffered serious injuries to the head and a forearmbreak. The girl was taken to a hospital for inpatient treatment. Quedlinburger Straße was fully blocked between Louis-Lewin-Straße and Schönburger Straße until around 9:45 p.m.
