A year Our village of Lietzow: Celebration for a life worth living!

On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, the association "Our village Lietzow" celebrates its one-year anniversary in the heart of Alt-Lietzow. The district councilor Judith Stückler will address a greeting to the members and guests present at 6 p.m. The association, which was founded by residents in 2024, has set itself the goal of making the Kiez Alt-Lietzow more livable. It promotes human encounters and supports non -profit initiatives, offers a platform for current projects and events and invites everyone interested to get involved, regardless of political or religious affiliations. Alt-Lietzow is the oldest settlement unit of the district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and, thanks to its historical development and village structure, shapes the flair of the neighborhood.

In the course of sustainable urban development, which is becoming increasingly important in Germany, the active participation of citizens is crucial. According to the Federal Center for Political Education , the population is growing in cities, which increases questions of urban development and quality of life. The population expects better access to income, living space, education, health and mobility.

First Lietzow dialog for future design

The discussion deals with central questions that arise from the challenges of urban development. These include, among other things, how social sustainability can be integrated into the plans and how to ensure fair balance between current and future living conditions. Participation in the Lietzow-Dialog offers a valuable opportunity to actively contribute and take responsibility in the future design of the neighborhood.

In order to bundle different perspectives and ideas, all citizens are invited to participate in these initiatives. The connection between individuals, schools and organizations is crucial for the success of a livable and sustainable future urban development, which should also take into account the needs of the next generations.
