Rönnestraße is launched to the cycling -friendly avenue: renovation work

The Rönnestrasse becomes a bicycle oasis! While the streets between Stuttgarter Platz and Holtzendorffstraße are currently undergoing radical transformation, it is said "bye headstone!". The construction work has started and the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf street and green area office has started to redesign our beloved asphalt!

In the first section of this exciting redesign, Rönnestraße between house number 7 and Stuttgarter Platz is completely closed for more than six weeks. Full closure here means: car traffic has a break and the project takes shape. But don't worry, even if the path is a hindrance, the finesse of the new design will pay off!

a smooth thing!

The focus is on a smooth asphalt ceiling, which should offer the pedestrian and cyclist grapes more comfort. Because who doesn't know it? Castle pavement is often the horror for cyclists! Finally, there is a remedy, and the residents can look forward to less noise and a more pleasant journey. The side rooms of the street keep their charming cobblestones, but the new joint structure enables better seepage of rainwater. This is not only nice for your eye, but also helps to make our city more environmentally friendly!

With a budget that is provided by the special fund of the growing city and the sustainability fund (Siwana) of the Senate Department, the city shows that it is relating to progress. The measures are not only well planned, but also coordinated with the authorities for road traffic and the Senate Department for Mobility. In this way, every movement is well carved and implemented in a targeted manner!

So be excited to see how Rönnestrasse transforms! Cycling will soon become a pleasure-and the heart of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district beats happier than ever!
