In a frightening incident in Friedrichshain, a 57-year-old was arrested after loudly shouting anti-Semitic and Nazi slogans. The police were called to the intersection of Revaler Strasse and Dirschauer Strasse around 7 p.m., where witnesses reported his verbal attacks. While the officers were clarifying the matter, a 46-year-old woman said the man had racially insulted her.
When the rioter was searched, the police found a folding knife that he had hidden under his scarf. After the police measures were completed, the man was released at the scene. The investigation has now been initiated by the State Police of the Berlin State Criminal Police Office.
