Violence in the queue: 29-year-old resists police in Tiergarten!
Yesterday morning a queue in front of an embassy on Stauffenbergstrasse turned into chaos! A 29-year-old man got into an argument with a 51-year-old around 12 p.m., which quickly escalated. The younger man insulted the older man and punched him, causing pain in his ear - but the 51-year-old refused to seek medical help.
The situation escalated further when the 29-year-old resisted when the police arrived. Officers used an irritant spray device to bring the situation under control. But that wasn't the end of the drama! While in police custody, the arrested man again showed aggressive behavior; Three police officers were injured and had to stop working. The accused will now be investigated by the public prosecutor's office while a judge will decide on the application for an arrest warrant.
