Frohnau: Cyclist seriously injured with an accident with a car door!

In a dramatic incident in Frohnau, a 44-year-old cyclist was seriously injured when she collided with an open car door from a VW. The 29-year-old driver opened the left back door of his vehicle at the back shortly after 12 noon to get something out and had no idea that the fatal misfortune was already on the way. The bicycle rider was traveling with a children's bike trailer in which her four -year -old child was safe.

In the collision, the mother fell and suffered head injuries. Rescue workers immediately hurried to the scene of the accident and took them to hospital for inpatient treatment. Fortunately, the child remained intact and was handed over into the care of the informed grandparents. The police have initiated the investigation into the exact cause of the accident and the traffic investment service of the police department 1 (North) now takes care of the case.
