In Kreuzberg, the night was overshadowed by a shocking knife attack! At around 0:25 a.m., a passerby discovered a seriously injured 44-year-old in the Volkspark Hasenheide and immediately alerted the fire brigade. According to reports, the victim met with an unknown man on a park bench when he suddenly struck with a knife and stabbed the upper body several times before he was in a hurry.
The situation was critical: the injured person suffered several life-threatening cuts and stab wounds and had to be taken to a hospital immediately where immediate operation was required. He now remains inpatient for further treatment. The investigation was taken over by a specialist commissioner of the Police Directorate 5 (City), which is now looking for the fleeting perpetrator.
