Bloody clash in Prenzlauer Berg: Several arrests!
Yesterday evening there was a dramatic altercation in trendy Prenzlauer Berg! At around 6:30 p.m., employees of the public order office observed a dispute between several people who were obviously drunk on Schönhauser Allee and called the police. A 53-year-old pushed a 38-year-old, who then fell to the ground. During the check, the emergency services discovered a stab wound in the 53-year-old's chest - he was taken to hospital and is in the intensive care unit, but his life is not in danger.
At the crime scene, officers found a knife covered in blood, which they confiscated. A witness reported that the 38-year-old was holding a knife in his hand during the argument. During a search, the emergency services also found a cutter knife. A breath alcohol test on the 38-year-old showed a shocking level of 3.5 per mille. While he sustained some injuries to his arm and face, he was treated at the scene. Despite the circumstances, he then had to undergo identification processing in police custody before being released. He is accused of grievous bodily harm, while the 53-year-old is charged with simple bodily harm. The investigation is carried out by a specialist commissioner from Police Directorate 1.
