Bloody argument in Lichtenberg: Bus driver injured with a knife!
Yesterday evening a dangerous situation escalated in Lichtenberg! A 53-year-old bus driver of the rail replacement traffic of the subway line 5 refused to travel to the bus at the Magdalenenstrasse underground station. But the two gentlemen did not let themselves be stopped and climbed. At Frankfurter Allee there was a violent argument in which the aggressive passenger stabbed the bus driver into the upper arm with a knife!
The police and rescue workers were quickly on site. The bus driver had to go to the hospital and was treated inpatient while the 45-year-old was arrested. A breath alcohol test resulted in a shocking value of about 1.2 per thousand. But that's not all: the suspect insulted another passenger and a police officer during the bus ride. He was brought into police custody, but was released later. Curious: An investigation into assault is also underway against the bus driver, since the attacker claims that the bus driver first beat him. The criminal police investigation is ongoing!
