80-year-old dies after accident in Moabit – investigations are ongoing!

Last night, an 80-year-old woman tragically died in the hospital in Wedding as a result of a traffic accident. The fatal incident occurred on August 22, 2025, when the senior citizen was crossing the street in Moabit with her dog and was hit by a 19-year-old man on a moped. The young driver ignored the rule and passed a parked van in the second row.

The injured woman was immediately taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she ultimately died. Her dog and the two-wheeler driver remained uninjured. The police have taken over the investigation into the tragic accident and are looking for further clues.
