Berlin: 700 people show solidarity with Israel in City West - demonstration against anti -Semitism and for the support of Israel
According to a report by www.bz-berlin.de , a demonstration with the name "Jüdisches Leben Berlin" was recently. Around 700 people took part in the demonstration that moved through City West to show solidarity with Israel and protest against anti -Semitism. The participants were accompanied by over 500 police officers and swiveled Israel flags, gave up signs and played loud music to demonstrate their support. They also listened to the speakers who commemorated the victims and relatives of the attack and campaigned for Jewish life in Berlin. The rabbi Yehuda Teichtal gave people hope and emphasized the need to strengthen Jewish life in Berlin.
As a citizen of Berlin, I can understand the importance of such demonstrations in the city. Berlin has one of the largest Jewish communities in Germany and the fear of anti -Semitism has increased lately. It is important that such events take place in order to express solidarity and support and to set an example against discrimination. A strong and peaceful future for Jewish life in Berlin should be a matter of course, and the efforts of Rabbi Teichtal and others are of the utmost importance to achieve this goal.
