On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the 25th Adlershof Autumn Festival took place in the Alte Schule cultural center in Adlershof, a festival that transformed the Balkan city into a lively cultural center. The event, which could be attended from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., offered a diverse program that had numerous highlights for both children and adults. With the support of volunteers and sponsors, the organizers, the Adlershof Festival Committee, were able to create a relaxed, inviting atmosphere that attracted numerous citizens. The Berlin press portal reports that the festival traditionally included many activities and performances.

A diverse stage program awaits visitors. Performances by the band Ella19, the Ensemble Fairschärft and the singer Leona Heine provided musical entertainment. Children's dance groups from the Vorwind e.V. sports club and a local dance school also performed, which was particularly well received by the younger guests. For the little ones there was also the “Scuraluna” puppet theater, which brought the popular story “Little Caterpillar Goes Out” to life. The cafeteria of the Kiezklub Alte Schule offered delicious snacks and creative hands-on activities that appealed to both children and adults.

A celebration for the whole family

The children's festival on the church grounds, which took place in cooperation with the Protestant and Catholic communities, was another program item. Here the children were able to enjoy exciting offers, including an ambulance from the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Berlin-Südost e.V., face painting, creative games and goal wall shooting, supported by ABC 08 e.V. Two large bouncy castles provided additional fun.

The fall festival was financed through donations from the Adlershof population and sponsors from the Adlershof Science and Technology Park. District mayor Oliver Igel took over the patronage of the festival and acknowledged the voluntary commitment of the organizers, who have been active since it was founded in 1994.

The Adlershof Festival Committee, which came together in February 1994, is responsible for organizing spring, children's and autumn festivals in the region. Over the last 30 years, it has not only launched the Autumn Festival, but also numerous other events such as the “Adlershofer Marktspektakel” and the celebrations for the local 250th anniversary in 2004. It is made up of around 20 members who are committed to promoting the community and organizing events. According to Aktives Adlershof, close cooperation with local associations and companies is an essential part of their work.

A part of cultural life in Berlin

The 25th Adlershof Autumn Festival is part of Berlin's broad cultural program, which offers a variety of events in September, including the Berlin Music Festival and the International Literature Festival. Other events in the city, such as the Berlin Autumn Fair or the BMW Berlin Marathon, showcase the lively cultural scene that has become an outstanding part of city life. The Berlin events calendar offers an overview of these and many other exciting offers.

Overall, the festive event was a great success and an excellent example of the commitment of the Adlershof community. The Adlershof Autumn Festival will certainly be seen as an integral part of the cultural calendar in Berlin.
