role of the extra -curricular educational offers
The open house day sets a sign of the importance of open child and youth work, which aims to promote young people for independent and community-capable personalities. The development of social, cultural and political skills is not only done at school, but also through extra -curricular educational offers. These are voluntary and are based on the realities of life of young people, which strengthens their participation in society. More than six million children and adolescents are active in various youth associations that are networked in the German Federal Youth Ring and provide a wide range of offers.
The Federal Youth Ministry actively supports these structures by promoting political youth education and awarding prices for outstanding educational projects. Extremely school learning places also help to reduce educational barriers and to facilitate socially disadvantaged children and adolescents, such as the information from Overall, the open house not only offers a festival for local families, but also a platform to discuss important topics of our time and to present the various facets of child and youth work. Further information on the mobility actions and program details can be found on the district office's website.
