Child and youth participation: One step into the future of the municipalities

The participation of children and adolescents in municipal matters not only represents a legal obligation, but is also of central importance for the development of a lively democratic culture. In this context, a two-day conference entitled "Ask yourself!- Child and youth participation from childhood" will take place on October 07 and 08, 2024. The Baden-Württemberg municipal code (§ 41a) stipulates that children and adolescents are adequately involved in planning and project in their community.
