November 2023 die digitalen Bildungswochen unter dem Motto „MACH’s digital!“ in der Stadtbibliothek Treptow-Köpenick stattfinden. Marco Brauchmann, district councilor for further training, school, culture and sport, announces that from October 16 to November 3, 2023, the digital educational weeks under the motto "Make it digital!" take place in the Treptow-Köpenick city library. Children between the ages of 5 and 10 have the opportunity to program small inventions, to make music digitally, to design interactive fairy tale readings or to explore nature in their neighborhood with the robot ozobot. These events are organized by the Treptow-Köpenick city library to convey digital skills in a playful and media education.

The digital educational weeks are part of a greater commitment to promoting digital skills and social participation in Treptow-Köpenick. In order to be able to understand and actively shape technical processes, digital skills are of great importance. The city library Treptow-Köpenick therefore offers these workshops to give the children the opportunity to learn digital skills and to deal with new technologies in a playful way.

In the workshops that take place in various district libraries as well as in the Köpenick focus library and the Alte Feuerwache Treptow focus library, various topics are dealt with. This includes fairy tales creative tea with apps, paint on paper with the computer, workshops with the learning robot ozobot, as well as the workshop Calliope Mini. The workshops are aimed at children from the 2nd class and offer a wide selection of digital learning opportunities.
