Cologne in the seventh burger sky: The food truck event "The Champions Burger" inspires in the cathedral city
The opening weekend of the largest food truck festival in Europe "The Champions Burger" took place and was a complete success. Thousands of visitors: inside came to the MediaPark to try and evaluate the best burgers of the country. What was special about this event was the 12 most successful burger shops in Germany, each offering a specially created burger. From the dumpled round of rounds from Burgis to a delicious Smashburger with Brioche Bread from Rekas, there was a suitable option for every taste. Even a burger with Wagyu Patty from Wagyu Bodensee was there. The visitors were able to evaluate their burgers in the categories Bun, meat, combination, presentation and originality inside. The final will take place in Munich from August 22nd to September 8th and the winner of the "The Champions Burger" title is chosen.
The exclusive VIP lounge of the main sponsor Ninja was also a popular meeting place in Cologne. Influencer and journalist: inside could treat themselves to a little break and try out the latest product highlights of the kitchen appliance manufacturer. A refreshing ice cream from the popular Ninja Creami Deluxe could not be missing for a welcome cooling.
The great burger creations in the MediaPark Cologne can be tasted until July 14th. Then the festival continues on July 18 in the Frankfurt area. The Champions Burger is a food truck event that is already a great success in Spain and has developed into the greatest food truck event in Europe in recent years. This year it was brought to Germany for the first time by Kreutzers, the online shop for sustainable food. The festival will take place in a total of 8 cities until September, including Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt, Saarbrücken and Munich. The best burger in Germany is searched for a total of 95 days. 16 of the most successful burger shops in Germany are included with a specially created burger.
