Idahobit: District Mayor Tempelhof-Schöneberg fights against queer violence
District Mayor Jörn Oltmann is decisively campaigned for in Tempelhof-Schöneberg against homo- and bisexual, inter- and trans*hostility. He emphasizes that acts of violence against queer people are not tolerated and that the queer community is an important part of the diverse district. On the occasion of the international day against homo- and bisexual, inter- and trans*hostility (Idahobit) on May 17th, the district is active for equality, freedom and justice for everyone.
The Idahobit was launched 32 years ago after homosexuality was deleted from the illness key of the World Health Organization. This year the action day is under the motto "Equality, Freedom and Justice for everyone!" and Tempelhof-Schöneberg is committed to hatred and violence by being hoisted to set a sign of diversity and tolerance.
Various actions take place on this day in Tempelhof-Schöneberg. In addition to the flag ranging in front of the Schöneberg town hall, the annual balloon campaign "Kiss Kiss Berlin" of the anti-violence project Maneo will also take place on Nollendorfplatz at 3:00 p.m. In addition, the rally of the lesbian and gay association in Germany (LSVD) on Wittenbergplatz will begin at 5:00 p.m. It is important that queer people can live a life free of violence and feel safe in Tempelhof-Schöneberg.
| Action | Time | Location |

| Flag ranging | - | Rathaus Schöneberg |
| Kiss Kiss Berlin | 3:00 p.m. | Nollendorfplatz |
