Nachdem am Wahlsonntag, dem 9. Juni 2024, die Mitarbeiter_innen der Bürgerämter, des Standesamtes und des Zentralen Fundbüros im Einsatz waren, bleiben diese Einrichtungen am darauffolgenden Montag geschlossen. Die betroffenen Ämter sind die Bürgerämter Schöneberg, Tempelhof und Lichtenrade, das Standesamt Tempelhof-Schöneberg und das Zentrale Fundbüro Berlin. Solche Schließungen nach einem Wahlsonntag sind in vielen Kommunen üblich, da die Mitarbeiter_innen an diesem Tag meist viele Überstunden leisten und eine Verschnaufpause benötigen.
